This is an enthusiastic welcome to the “new” Old Stuff. We may be the new kids on the block, but we also are “old” when it comes to this great publication.

For one thing, our News-Register Publishing Co. of McMinnville, OR has been printing Old Stuff since our friends Ron and Donna Miller purchased the magazine in 1987. Long before that, we printed their local McMinnville shopping publication.
 

Speaking of old, we have been in McMinnville since 1928, when grandfather Lars and uncle Jack purchased the newspaper and moved their families from Iowa to Oregon. We have a few treasured family antiques from those days, and like many of you, we learned to appreciate them even more by reading Old Stuff.
 

When Ron and Donna decided to hang up their publishing shingle, we were delighted to be in a position to take over Old Stuff. We hope you will join with us in this journey.

We know lots about community news, visitor services, food and drink, and more – things that we write about in our newspaper and other specialty publications. But antiques?

Well, Donna gave us hope by admitting that she and Ron knew nothing about antiques when they starting publishing Old Stuff.
