Camark Pink Iris Two-Light Candlestick

Hand Painted

Camark was a pottery operating in Camden, Arkansas, which is where the company name came from. The pattern on this candlestick is Camark Lechner’s Bas Relief Iris. It is hand painted in rose pink with a yellow center. The background is a pale pink shading to almost white. There are two green leaves. On the reverse is a flower bud in Rose Pink. The overall height is 5 ˝”. The overall width is also about 5 ˝”. On the inside of one cup there are two lines which at first glance seem to be hairlines, but on inspection appear more to be threads of green paint. There is a little bit of crazing around the base. The original label is on the bottom and USA and mold #269 are impressed.
