Buffalo Pottery Wild Ducks Plate

Made in 1908

Buffalo Pottery made a series of Wild Game plates in 1908. This is the one titled Wild Ducks. It is a dark teal color at the edges, shading to a lighter color closer to the center. The central feature is three wild ducks in flight. The scalloped edge is rimmed with gold. The gold shows some signs of wear. The plate shows some crazing and a few indentations that were made in the manufacturing. It has a diameter of 9”. The back stamp says Semi-Vitreous, the Buffalo logo, Buffalo Pottery, Wild Ducks, 1907, No. 1316. There are some miscellaneous manufacturer’s ink marks.
