Wade Whimsey-On-Why Village
The Stag Hotel
The Stag Hotel is #15 in the Wade Whimsey-on-Why Village
series. The village buildings were produced by the Wade Pottery from
1980-1987. The detail of each building was produced by a fired-on
transfer. The Stag, with its sign over the door, is 2 5/8” long and 2”
high to the top of the chimney, making it one of the larger pieces in the
series. One side has a little sign that says Car Park; a little sign on
the other side says Hotel. There are pots of flowers by both the front
door and the back door. Wade England is in relief on the bottom.
