Metlox Colorstax Covered ButterReddish Brown Terra Cotta Color
The Metlox Pottery of California made its Colorstax line in the late 1970s and ealy 1980s. The line was made in several different solid colors and pieces had a wide rim with rings. This covered butter dish is marked Metlox Colorstax on the bottom. The bottom is 6 ½” x 4 ¼”. The overall height when the lid is on is about 4”. I think the color is the one the company called Terra Cotta, it’s a reddish brown color. Colorstax pieces are shown in Metlox Potteries by Carl
