Rookwood Green Petal Bowl, 1954
Mold # 6132
This Rookwood bowl is a soft green color with a shiny
glaze. It is mold #6132 and carries a date stamp of 1954. The later pieces
of Rookwood are getting hard to find, because by that time the factory was
only operating a few days each month instead of the 24/7 of the earlier
years. The bowl has a diameter of 7 Ľ” across the top and is about 3 ˝”
high. It was designed by Kataro Shirayamadani, Rookwood’s premier
designer/decorator. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
