Souvenir Child’s Cup & Saucer from Canada

This cup & saucer set is probably a child’s set. From the back stamp, which says only hand decorated in red I am guessing it’s Japanese made from the mid-20th century. It’s a cute little set. The saucer has a 3 7/8” diameter. The diameter of the cup is just 1 ¾” and it’s just under 2” tall.

The gold trim on both cup and saucer show a little bit of wear and there’s a little bit of scratching on the letters of the saucer. There are no chips or cracks. The decoration is a transfer design with a pink background, green maple leaves and maroon letters.
