Imperial Lace Edge Milk Glass Bowl

With Original Label

Imperial Glass Co. called this small bowl a “crimped bowl.” It has Imperial’s “Lace Edge” and is in milk glass. In fact, the original label proclaims it to be “Genuine Milk Glass.” It is 6” across at the widest part. The base has a diameter of 3” and clearly shows the company logo. The sides of the bowl are a button and crosshatch pattern. It is pictured in the original catalog page reprinted in Imperial Glass Encyclopedia, Vol. III, p. 739. This reference indicates the piece was made in the 1950s. (This bowl is flared more than the one pictured.) There are no chips or cracks.
