Fenton Ruby Carnival
Pineapple Comport

This comport in iridized ruby, or ruby carnival, was made by Fenton as a special order in 1979 for the Fenton Art Glass Club of America. It has a top diameter of 5" and is 3" high. The pineapple pattern, of three pineapples on a branch, is repeated three times around the piece. The foot has a diameter of 3" and is impressed with the club’s butterfly logo. There are a few manufacturing bubbles in the stem where the glass was stretched during manufacturing.
