Fenton Cameo Opalescent Covered Candy Dish

From the 1920s

Fenton’s cameo opalescent color of the 1920s is a pinkish amber. The opalescence comes when the original piece is shaped and reheated. This is the ½ pound size candy dish. It is 9 ½” high from the base to the top of the finial. The foot is hexagonal and shows the amber color. There are six panels on the side of the bowl and a lovely even opalescence around the top. The lid also has six panels and most of the finial shows the opalescence. This piece is Fenton’s mold #835. There are no chips or cracks.
