Ruby or Amberina Slipper or
Pipe Holder

Made by Crescent Glass Company

Whether you collect tobacco-related items or glass shoes, this is a great addition to your collection. It is made to resemble a man’s bedroom slipper. The slipper is ruby with “stitching” around the sole. The outside edge of the stitching is amber, giving the piece an amberina appearance. It is 5 1/8” long and about 2” across at the widest parts of the base. The opening, designed so it could hold a pipe, is 2 1/1”. It was made by the Crescent Glass Company of Wellsburg, West Virginia, possibly in the 1940s-‘50s. The stem of the pipe rests where the shoe dips down. It is in excellent condition.
