Rich Pink Color and White Opalescence

This is Duncan & Miller’s Sylvan swan in pink opalescence. It is 7 ½”long and 5 ½” tall. It has a very rich pink color, with white opalescence on base and rim. The neck and head are pale pink. It was made in the 1930s or early 1940s. When the body was taken from the mold it was an oval dish. While still hot, the tail and breast were shaped and a hot glob of glass attached which was pulled to form the neck and head. No two will be exactly alike. There are no chips or cracks.
